Sorry to all my friends in the US, but I was happy to be in the Netherlands. It was great to be in the bars enjoying the games. A sad loss in the semifinals, but was still a very well played game.
In terms of the pool, I came in 2nd out of 20 people in my lab. I feel really great about that. The Alberthijn hamsters are pretty excited as well. They will become christmas trees ornaments and cat toys.
In four years from now, maybe I will have to travel to Russia to see the World Cup. Kevin, are you up for a trip?
