Women in STEM

For those of you who know me well, know that increasing the number of women in STEM careers is a huge passion of mine. In 2010, I started a student group at Drexel University called Drexel Graduate Women in Science & Engineering (DGWISE). This group has grown through the passion of many women. We have won student and outreach awards for our efforts.

In addition to this group, I have become involved in a national organization called Women in Engineering ProActive Network (WEPAN). For almost a year now, I have served on the Knowledge Center Committee which puts out a quarterly newsletter. I helped recently write an article about one the leaders in increasing women in STEM careers. Please take a look to see what amazing strides are being made.
